My wish is for you and your baby to have an empowered birth experience and the best start of life together. I teach KGHypnobirthing which is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives and is a complete and in-depth antenatal course.
You will learn about how the body is perfectly equipped to birth as a normal and natural function just like the many other reflexes in our bodies. We will build a positive expectation of birth so that you can release any fears and trust your body, your baby and your instincts.
I will give you information and knowledge around birth and within the NHS. We will look at the choices you may be faced with in your birthing journey and the implications of various routes so that you can feel confident in the decisions you make for you and your baby.
Unique from other antenatal courses, we dispel the myths of a painful labour. I will guide you in techniques in breathing, deep relaxation and other tools that you and you birth partner will practice beforehand so that when the time comes to birth your baby you will feel confident, comfortable and relaxed.
To book a course please scroll down this page or contact me. Installment options are available and class times can be flexible. Private courses are also available.

What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a naturally induced state of relaxed concentration. We experience it everyday when we are waking up and as we fall asleep. Its just like staring into a fire or daydreaming. There is no magic to it. In hypnobirthing we use this this state of mind to communicate positive suggestions in order to stay relaxed, yet fully in control.
Is reading the Hypnobirthing Book and listening to the Relaxation Sufficient?
Sometimes people ask if doing this is sufficient without coming to a course. The answer is, ‘I don’t know’. For a few mothers it is but for many it isn’t (though it will always make a difference). Unfortunately you don’t know if this is the case for you until after your baby is born.
"The thing about hypnobirthing is that it works" - Dad
"Thanks so much for your valuable class; I had the most amazing birth, probably the best night of my life" - Mother
"I have been present at Hypnobirthing births and seen how in control the women are, and how also the partners are a lot calmer and able to help, and what a difference it really does make to the start of parenthood for them" - Midwife
I have trained in both the Mongan Method and KGH. I began teaching in 2010 and have helped many couples achieve positive birth outcomes.
Both my children were birthed using hypnobirthing. I practised it throughout my pregnancy's and can personally testify to how amazing it is.
My deep wish is for you and your baby to also have an empowered birth experience and the best possible start to your lives together. I look forward to sharing Hypnobirthing with you.
I also teach pregnancy yoga which compliments the hypnobirthing course. If you would also like to bring this into your pregnancy journey please pop over to the pregnancy yoga page for more details.
